Imported Shared Thwack Templates

I am trying to import server applicaitons templates from the shared thwack templates and for some of the templates I get this error "There was an error deserializing the object of type System.Collections.Generic.List`1"  has anyone came across this and if so what did you do to resolve it.

Windows Hardware Inventory is a Zip file that must be extracted before it can be imported into SAM. The ZIP contains two files, a template (which can be directly imported into SAM though the webUI, and a Orion Report file which must be copied to the reports directory of your Orion server manually.
