missing mac/IP and dns information from Solarwinds
daveslocombe
Hi
We are running SolarWinds Network Toolbox (engineers edition) ver 5.5 and are having trouble getting information from the switch port mapper utility. We use Cisco switches (3500, 2950, 3750, cat 6K and cat 4K). When we run the mapper on a 3500 switch we don' seem to get the mac address/IP address, or DNS info displayed from any user ports, but do get info back from trunked ports, or any user port set up to use the native vlan 1. When we scan cat 6K/4K sw we get the full data from vlan 1 configured ports and trunked ports but all other ports are not even listed. We would find the port mapper an extremly useful tool, so can anyone help us
Cheers
