Post 7.01 upgrade the following banner is displayed on all windows.

You may need to re-create your Real-Time Configuration Change Detection rules

which is an Oops!!!

We are having enough post-upgrade and integration issues I don't really wish to look up another "fix"

Oh no, but thanks.

"Orion NCM no longer uses the NCM Syslog Server and NCM Trap Server to process syslog and trap events from network devices. Instead, Orion NCM uses the SolarWinds Syslog Service and the SolarWinds Trap Service.

As a result, to conform the operation of real-time change detection and notification to the filtering rules you setup in a previous standalong version of NCM, you must replicate those rules."

I do not wish to receive traps from all of my network devices into NPM which this is net result. I was happy sending config change traps to a dedicated ip address on the same server thus isolating this information.

Another sad NCM 7.0 change.
