I am fairly sure I know the answer to this already but thought I would ask on the off chance.

Is it possible to run an additional Orion polling engine on a Windows Server Core installation?

SolarWinds Additional Polling Engine for SolarWinds Unlimited Licenses (Standard Polling Throughput) they charge around $ 3,499.00.

Hi James,

Judging from this article the .Net framework is not included with a Windows Server Core installation, so just by this point alone I reckon it's not supported.

Thanks, I believe that .Net Framework support is included in Windows 2012 Core though, I might fire a request to SolarWinds technical support and see if it is supported officially (I doubt it).
