Powershell script to monitor a list of websites and check their expiry

Hi All,

I got a task on hand to monitor a bunch of websites internally and externally.

Can I know if there is a script that is capable of meeting my requirements?

There is a component / template you can use to check on expiry dates of a website's certificate: SSL Certificate Expiration Date Monitor

Hi Steffen,

Thanks for that. But to my knowledge, it's only applicable for websites

hosted on servers.

I intend to have a script that pings the URL to see if it's alive and also

the ability to check the expiry date of all the urls and have them alerted

to me via the alerts configuration.

I never used this one here but sounds like could be useful for you. For each website you want to monitor you create a template where the vbscript can write to a unique txt file: Success Center
