I am evaluating Orien NCP. It is looking good just need a pointer to make the SNMP Trap View work for me.
In short I can see SNMP traps arriving at the host by running wireshark.
I have set up the SNMP and SNMP Trap services as I think correct.
I can see running TCPView that the services are terminating the relevant UDP ports.
Yes still no joy.
I have made no particular configuration to the Trap Viewer. I cannot find any reason to change it's setup.
Finally have done several reloads of my host Win2K3 server. It is a VMWare image.
