Doing a migration and I am finding that performance counters are not polling on my new machine. I can't even find out what credentials are being used because they don't show that on my old environment. So I made a service account with domain level access (as a test) to see if it would poll my performance counters on my server. I logged in to the server, opened performance counters, had a mess about with it and it all seems fine. I have also used my account (that has a few more extra permissions as well as domain admin access) and it will not poll. it sits there in an unknown state. Why is it so different on an older version of SAM and not on a much newer version?
I have also tried the local admin account (just in case) as well as other performance counters on other nodes on other domains and I get the same problem.
Help please.
