APM - Process monitor unable to find w3wp.exe process

I am trying to setup a WMI Process Monitor on w3wp.exe.

I used the browse processes page to find the process on the server, (3 instances found), then selected the process and added it to the template.

When I test the template I get the following results:

w3wp.exe

Testing on node VPWEB01: failed with 'NotAvailable' status

The process was not found.

"Testing on node XXXXX: failed with 'NotAvailable' status

The process was not found"

Any suggestions?

Our APM doc dude and the dev manager looked at this one and it looks like that best path is to open a ticket with support. Considering you are able to browse the service it does not look like a basic WMI issue, which is what the Troubleshooting Guide addresses.

Thanks. I must have SNAFU'd something along the way. I removed the monitor and recreated it, and it worked. Also thought it was pretty dang cool that I could enter the Application Pool name in the command line box and get separate monitors for each pool configured on the server. Very nice.
