Zyxel Prestige monitoring

Hello all.

I want to find out if it is possible to monitor cpu and bandwidth on Zyxel cable modems. Those modems are from Prestige model line like 944, 900 or 964. I have notice that zyxel has a mib ready ( ftp://ftp.zyxel.com/mib ) but I am not sure if Solarwinds is ready to monitor zyxels. Can someone tell me if its possible to monitor zyxel cable modems?

Hi there zikona,

Not in version 7.8.5 or earlier.

It looks like version 8 will support custom MIB. You will be able to monitor any OID on any vendor box (or so it says in the marketing material).

Version 8 is scheduled for a December release.
