Creating third party update for Microsoft Security Advisory: Update for deprecation of MD5 hashing algorithm for Microsoft root certificate program: August 13, 2013

Hi,

Any chance you could create third the following Microsoft advisory in the third party catalogs? As it is not available for WSUS and it would make things easier for administrators.

No.

Microsoft has already announced that this update will be released to WU/WSUS in February 2014.

See http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/security/advisory/2862973, particularly the section titled "Advisory FAQ" which expressly identifies when it will be released to MU.

First time I read the Advisory section I didn't pick that up either I missed it or it wasn't present but thanks for checking and replying.
