How to display chart and/or gauge of a component on a summary page in SAM 6.3

Hi Guys,

I think I am missing something and it is got to be fairly easy... I just can't see it - your help much appreciated

Prior to SAM 6.3 I used to be able to create Summary pages and push there various stats from SAM components in the form of charts and gauges - this would then serve as various KPIs dashboards, etc - see example screenshot below. Unfortunately I cannot find how to do same in SAM 6.3 - is anyone able to help? I could not find appropriate resource to use on page to actually display gauge for components...

Here is an example below are KPI stats of alerts that I gather with components running SQL scripts - this part is still OK

and below is what I used to do - kind of KPIs dashboards which would display custom components on a single page with different option - this is what I am stack with - can't replicate below from my older environment

I have something similar now.  I have two resources I'm wanting to use radial gauges for, and I want it in only 1 view not multiple.  As soon as I add a 2nd component it totally removes the gauges and creates a bar graph or something else.  I only want statistical data from my components.  Do you know if this has been fixed.  i'm on NPM 12.2 SAM6.6  Thanks,

Apologies if I've hijacked this a little. There are some issues I have with charts, this being one of them. In a NOC-type environment where everything is shown on one or more screens, it's much easier to display things as a chart or gauge for quick visual representation. Showing it as data or info on a map is often unreadable when looking at it from some distance. I would love to be able to show JUST THE CHART without all the other garbage. In some charts it makes sense, in others it would be nice to have the option to remove them. For example, the chart above without the title/header and the actual object below it. IE;

Many chart resources will add a long list of objects on the bottom  based on what you've selected, taking up valuable screen real estate. Love much of the charting capabilities in NPM, but need better customization.

this is what I have received from SolarWinds support:

 We changed the way how to create tge gauges for specific components.
 I collected information how to add the gauge on the Summary page.
 
 Steps:
 - Customize page
 - Click the +
 - Add Custom Object Resource click Add Seleted
 - Click Done at bottom of page
 - Navigate down the Summary page to the unpopulated custom object resource
 - Click Configure This Resource
 - Change the drop down for "Choose object type" to component
 - Select your component from "select object"
 - Change the drop down for "Select object resource:" to component statistics radial gauge
 - Click submit

"Custom Object Resource" is not usable in my environment. It just simply takes painfully slow to go through above steps with every page loading for longer than 2 minutes. I guess there is a bug with this resource or maybe it is just my environment. I still need to come back to this and investigate further with SW support at some point. I have fairly fresh setup and brand new instance, so, not sure what might be causing this. All the rest is working perfectly fine

Another problem is that if I take a deep breath and go through those steps anyway.... This is what I get (see below). Notice Response Time Gauge - I do not need that one to be there, it is irrelevant for me. So, there are still few problems with this. Yet another thing - if I add multiple components on the list, suddenly I cannot display gauges at all... hmmmm...

With regards to charts however - I found the following way works best for me:
