I see in the Admininistrators guide serving sizing for NPM. We have reciently purchased Orion Network Performance Monitor v9 SL2000, Orion Network Configuration Manager v5 - DL10, NetFlow module v3 for Orion SL2000, Orion IP Address Manager – IPX, SolarWinds Engineer's Toolset (managed by IT Network team) . I plan to managed the up down satus of aproximately 600 devices also manage the configuration and IOS of the above mentioned devices. For the netflow part I will only looking at maybe 20 interfaces to start. We will be utilizing a sql database cluster on a seperate server. So my question is do I still go by the NPM server sizing requirements or do I need to increase the server sizes for each additional SW application.
