Tons of NPM.Collector.Jobs WARN messages

While looking through NPM.Collector.Jobs_[10820].log I see tons of WARN messages like these... interesting spelling of "higher" too... these date back to 11/04... does anyone know what this means?

Looks like a bad poller or bad MIB being used. I'd recommend opening a support case, but I doubt it's affecting your polling.

Hello ttl,

Warning which you can see in your logs is caused by reply from device where OID requested as a successor from GetNext query isn't successor but predecessor.

For example:

Get-Next for OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.14179.2.1.17.1.1.4.103.111.108.99 -> returns 1.3.6.1.4.1.14179.2.1.17.1.1.4.103.111.108.100

Get-Next for OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.14179.2.1.17.1.1.4.103.111.108.100 -> 1.3.6.1.4.1.14179.2.1.17.1.1.6.98.114.111.110.122.101

Get-Next for OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.14179.2.1.17.1.1.4.103.111.108.101 -> 1.3.6.1.4.1.14179.2.1.17.1.1.6.98.114.111.110.122.100

last line is not expected result, because OID isn't increasing. You can check it with wireshark to narrow down which poll initiate this request.

Orion is handling such scenarios and when all OIDs necessary for polling is return, then only affect for you are these WARN statements in logs.
