HTTPS Component Monitor Leaves Cookies?

I was posed a question by someone whom we configured an HTTPS URL monitor for.  "Does SolarWinds leave cookies?"

He said "We are seeing a cookie name CFIWebMonSession"

The HTTPS monitor component is configured using just the default settings.  Only the Url is populated with the exact HTTPS URL.  The node is configured as an external node.  We are unable and don't need to monitor the node
