Want to be able to acknowledge alerts in web interface

Is there a way to configure Solarwinds to allow me to acknowledge a host down alert in the web interface instead of having to log into the Orion Performance Monitor application interface and open the Active Alerts dialog? I want to give people the ability to turn off the repeating alerts from the escalation feature without having to RDP into a host.

Are you talking about basic alerts? If you're using advanced alerts, you should be able to acknowledge them from the web console. If you're using basic alerts, I think your only option is to get on the server.

OK, perhaps I am just confused but when I use the Event view and select the events then click the "Clear Select Events" button it clears the events from the web view, but in the System Manager on the Advanced Alerts view I do not see the 'Acknowledged' check box getting checked.

Does this mean it is acknowledged, but it just doesn't say it is in System Manager?

In the web console, you will acknowledge alerts in the Alerts tab, not the Events tab. Alerts and events are in different tables in the database. In your advanced alerts trigger actions, you log the alert to the event log, you'll get both an alert and an event in the event log. If you go into the Alerts tab, you'll see your triggered alerts and should have a check box next to any advanced alert allowing you to acknowledge that alert.

Similar issue here, only the checkboxes to acknowledge alerts are grayed out. Clicking on "Select All" does absolutely nothing. It's the same whether you're directly on the server or not.

We're running Orion 9.5 SP5.
