Server to NTP Server connection

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knows whether it is possible to monitoring the connection between a server, such as an avaya server and an NTP server to check whether the connection goes down / out of sync?

We recently had an issue where our avaya server's connection became out of sync with our NTP server, meaning we had issues with phones displaying the incorrect time and causing us some issues.

for cisco, here is a UDnP poller. you might be able to find an equiv. OID to poll for your gear.

Thanks for the reply but thinking about it, I dont think its possible do monitor what I want.

I want to monitor the link / connection between server A and B from the Solarwinds servers

So -

SW ----------------------- Server A -Monitor this link here- Server B
