How many GB can Serv-U store? Thanks
I am not sure if there is more to this question, but this is not a limitation or constraint of the product, but more the hard drive of the system it is installed on or how you have the product configured on where to put the files.
The limitation lies in the filesystem used, i.e. of NTFS constraints on Windows and the various filesystems used on Linux.
So, for Windows (NTFS), the practical limit is about 16,384 GB (16 TiB) per file and about 262,144 GB (256 TiB) per volume. Of course, you can have several volumes.
For Linux, the limits for Ext4 are 16 TiB per file and 1 EiB (exabyte, or one million terabytes).
More on that in this nice table: Comparison of file systems - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The best answer may be: yes, there is a limit, but it lies far above usual requirements, in the petabyte and exabyte areas
