The documentation I am reading for NPM v12 indicates that the only required antivirus exclusion is for the C:\ProgramData\SolarWinds directory.
Is that correct? No other folders need to be excluded?

I highly recommend using all of the exclusions listed in the KB based on your OS. Those exclusions have helped with all possible issues you may come across due to antivirus checkers, especially when troubleshooting.
