We're trying to make sure that Orion fits into the broader IT environment. We know about a lot of big tools (e.g., Remedy) that people use. Are there other tools that you use that you really like?

Numara Footprints
We use this for ticketing and plan to have Orion email tickets into the system. An API for ticket creation does exist through initially we don't have the time to develop the scripts to do it.
Openfire Jabber
We use this as our internal XMPP chat server. I would really love for Orion to support XMPP as an alerting option for all of the different alerting engines.
This is a great OpenSource product for anybody that may be interested in having a secure chat server.
We use a tool that provides us a little more grandular application reporting. (It's part of the HP Openview Platform and I don't know what the name of it is.) It allows us to "record" multiple steps accessing web applications and measure each step in the process. (IE, open the page, login, select a link, enter some data, submit, and find a specific response. ) It allows us to monitor the response times of the different processes.
We also use BMC's Service Desk Express for our ticket system and have some change managment integration with NCM. We don't have anything else configured between APM or NPM.
Another one is HP's CIM (SIM?) product for montiroing our EVA systems and few HP Servers.
