Unable to install Beta software

RESOLUTION: You must renew your maintenance to upgrade.

So I installed VMAN, SAM and SCM - current release software.

Then tried to upgrade using the VMAN (full installation) software, and it gives this message.

I installed the Beta directly after I installed the current release software - there wasn't any gap.

Previously I'd also tried to install the Beta immediately on a clean machine but it would only install VMAN, it didn't give the option to add SAM.

What I'm trying to test will require both of these.

I definitely managed to install both on previous occasions. Can somebody at Solarwinds check this and tell me what I'm doing wrong.

You'll need to download both betas and install them one after the other on a clean machine.

I believe you will want to install SAM beta first and then run the VMAN beta installer.

Betas are not intended for production and are packed a little differently.

I uninstalled SCM and SAM and then ran the beta, this time it select VMAN by default, but also had a "Additional Product" selection, so I was able to select SAM and SCM, and it's installed them. Unfortunately the config wizard gives;

Website configuration failed:

• • Access to the path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\SolarWinds.AgentManagement.Contract.dll' is denied.

So I'm going to leave it for now and will try the RC once it is available. I usually like to check out the features so I know to plan how we can implement them.
