Lots written about the subject but just want to confirm that what I have found is that NCM cannot natively backup BigIP config's say like a Cisco device.
Yes true, I know there was alot of F5 stuff going in to the NPM 12 side of things, I have one in testing as we are evaluating at present, and it looks very beneficial.
Have not been able to get the F5 working through NCM as yet though as it is one of the listed device types in NCM 7.5.
Waiting for our F5 SME to look at what he has setup for SCP/TFTP type config backup.
Yeah no native ncm support is a bummer, we are constantly having to look outside SW for solutions which is just putting nails in its coffin, lets hope 12 picks these issues up and corrects them
