NCM archives

Question

Researching to find out how many config changes the NCM can save. In other words if I needed a running config from 2 years ago - how deep does the NCM save?

I've also noticed that the configuration files of nodes which have been renamed end up lasting much longer in the archives--perhaps indefinitely.
