Object reference not set to an instance of an object

I am attempting to install a 2007 Sharepoint APM from the Content Exchange and I get the following error when attempting to import the APM.

APM Web Site Error

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Additional Information

   at SolarWinds.APM.BusinessLayer.APMBusinessLayerService.ImportApplicationTemplates(IList`1 templates)

So what am I doing wrong?

Which one? There are two listed when I search. Is the APM 2.0 or 2.5? APM 2.0 had a bug where it wouldn't import templates from older versions. That should be fixed in 2.5

Either one. I've tried both and get the same message.

I'm sorry I misunderstood the question, I believe that it is v2.0 this is the install package I got just got back in January.

SolarWinds-Orion-APM-v2.0-AL500.exe w/ Apm-2.0-Update.exe

I had not noticed the update until today so I attempted to run the Apm-2.0-Update.exe and got an error that the application could not stop some services. I don't know if this is a related issue but I wanted to let you know.
