URL Monitoring Question

I'm a bit new to application monitoring and am trying to setup URL monitoring in Solarwinds APM.  In my case I have a SharePoint 2003 site that we're having trouble with.

The site requires a popup-based form login with username and password.  I'd like a monitor to perform the login and let me know if either it doesn't show up or fails in some way.

I've looked around a bit and am not sure which template to use.  The information for the "HTTP Form Login Monitor" states that it does not work on any login screens that are pop up.

So, can anyone suggest a template to use for a popup-based site?

with popup you mean a website popup or normal authentification popup?

the latter should work finde, with the first I dont think there is a built-in way for that in APM unless it is enough for you to access the url of the popup directly and see the result of the login-popup. otherwise I guess you can look in the content exchange zone or write a script yourself that does this...

I heard there is a new product in line which allows you to fill out forms and many more things with e.g. websites from solarwinds.
