I am looking for some assistance trying to set up a custom alert for a few servers. This is based off of the Active Server Pages: Requests Queued component from the Internet Information Service (IIS) 6 template.
Basically I am trying to set it up so when the Requests Queued counter goes above a certain threshold (say 30), it automatically triggers an IIS reset on the server. If after 3 minutes the alert does not clear, I want it to send out an email. But each time I try to bind the component to an alert, it ends up picking up several trigger conditions that I didn't specify. I'm new to setting up custom alerts so any help would be greatly appreciated.
