Orion Maps 2.0

I am unable to zoom into the Orion Maps 2.0 widget. I can on the old map widgets, but not on the new widget. I have created a map using the new Orion Maps 2.0 and it does not take up all the room in the widget. Plus it is harder to see at a distance. Would like to make things larger so that we can see them.

I see in the announcement that it should auto size to fit the widget, but it is not changing size for me when I resize the widget. What am I missing?

It works for me - I mean resizing. I'm draging out the line to increase width and then editing widget (click on EDIT - top right corner of map widget) to change hight (shown in pixels). Then click Save.

I am doing that, but the items inside are not getting bigger. I need to zoom in so that there is not so much whitespace and so that you can read from a distance. The old maps resource has a zoom feature (can be set as a percentage). This will not zoom into the map, only zoom out.

Make sense?

It works in Edit map mode only (zoom in/out) by usage of CTRL+mouse wheel and save, I think. I didn't find option to setup zoom in percentage.

reylas Can you share any screenshots? If you place a map in a widget, it does auto-fit the space available. As JaroslawLadyga pointed out, you can adjust the height from widget properties, and can expand the widget left to right in the dashboard. How many elements do you have on the map?

Zooming is not available on the widget, as this was a fundamental problem for many users when scrolling through a dashboard, they did not want the map to auto-zoom on them. That is the reason for the "View Mode" which allows you to go into a full screen interactive view of the map. If you want the map to be larger as a widget, make the widget bigger. Hovering and clicking on elements in the widget will take you to details pages, but if you want to interact further, use the View Mode.
