Polling Apple Mac Server

Hi, newbie to SolarWinds Server monitor.

We've got a couple of Apple Macs servers on-site that are technically managed by a 3rd Party (I.E We're NOT touching Apple Macs!) However we'd like to add them to our list of Nodes to monitor - How do we go about this? Do they need to set up SNMP community strings or is there a Mac equivalent of WMI?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

MacOS supports SNMP which is disabled by default. Below are two KB articles that walk you through the process of enabling and configuring SNMP on MacOS
