Removing a poller.

I am removing a secondary poller but for the life of me I can't instructions on how to do this. Can somebody shed some light. Thanks.

Click Start > SolarWindsNetwork Performance Monitor > Advanced Features > Monitor PollingEngines. Once the tool is up and running follow the steps below.
1 Click Servers at the top
2 Click Poller Load Balancing
You should get a msg reminding you to shut down the polling engine prior tomaking a change click OK.
At the top of the Polling Engine Load Balancing UI click polling engine andselect "Delete Unused Polling Engine". Make sure the correct polleris selected and proceed with the removal.

After these steps are taken you may wish to check the database with the database manager.
Open the SolarWinds database managerand connect to your SQL server.
Open the Orion database and select the engine table. Right click on the enginetable and run a query.
Now you will see all polling engines and when if you still find the old pollingengine in here delete it.
In order to delete the polling engine change Read Only to Read-Write and selectthe row with the old polling engine. Right click and delete the row.
