Component Message...

Bad I know but only just really noticed the "MESSAGE" field when viewing components in Application Details

In what way can this field be used?

Just intrigued to know if we can populate information into that field.

Some component monitor types can return an optional "Message" as part of the values returned. ODBC User Experience Monitors and Script Monitors are two such examples. This field cannot be manually populated. If you need a field to enter information specific to a monitored application component, within the application editor you will find a "User Notes" field that can be manually populated with information for each Component Monitor.
