Issues with Report Scheduler

Hello. I'm trying to create a simple report in Report Scheduler and not getting the results I want. If I select the options to send the report as a PDF, everything works great except I get a link to the webpage in the content of the email. Because the people who will receive this email do not and should not have Solarwinds accounts, I'd like to get rid of that link. I just know I'll get calls about the link not working for them...

Alternately, and more preferably, I'd like to send the report as HTML instead of a PDF attachment. The weblink itself is a simple utilization graph. When I get the email, there is a Solarwinds logo, and blanks for Username and password. At the bottom it says "Enable Javascript to login".

I've tried almost every permutation of options in the Report Scheduler job editor and have had no luck. I've tried with and without Orion Web Login creds, with and without NT account login creds, with and without printable version. I created a new solarwinds account specifically for this, I've made sure the NT Solarwinds accoutn was a local admin and had rights to login as a batch job. I've tried adding the Solarwinds site to the trusted sites in IE, tried enabling and disabling javascript in IE.

Anyone have any guidance? Thanks!

It sounds like the Report Scheduler is unable to authenticate to the Orion Server to capture the data because Internet Explorer Enhanced Security is enabled on the server. Disable ESC on the Orion Server and retry running the report through the Report Scheduler.

On step #6 of the Job Wizard provide the credentials for the user who's allowed to login to the Orion Windows Server console where you've defined the necessary trusted site exceptions in IE. In most cases this would be the Windows administrator account. If you're able to login to the WIndows Console, Launch IE, and Login to the Orion Web Console through that IE session with this user account, theoretically it should work no differently for the Report Scheduler.

I created a domain service account for this called solarwinds-svc. I added this as a local admin on the solarwinds server and added the account as a solarwinds users with admin rights. I logged into the solarwinds server with this account and logged into the solarwinds website successfully. I also went directly to the URL I entered into the report scheduler. I had no login issues with this account. As I mentioned above I also made sure this account had the ability to logon as a batch job.

I used my normal domain admin account for all of the above as well to see if I would get different results but everything worked as expected.
