Configuring the number of packets send for Average response time

Hi,

Does any one know where in Orion NPM can we configure the number of packets send for the average response time.

It seems that we cannot set the number of packets or know how many packets are send to get the average response time.

When we try to ping a device, if it doesn't respond, we go into fast poll mode and try to ping the device 3 more times before reporting it as unavailable. 

Can you provide more details about what exactly you are trying to do? Are you trying to send more pings to make sure the device doesn't show as down when there are intermittent network issues?
