SAM monitor flapping

Is there a way I can adjust the alert threshold on SAM? I am getting lots of flapping because the WMI monitor will time out but them come back through on the next cycle.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The polling timeout is configurable within the assigned application or template as seen below.
