windows evet log script error

Hi there,

 

I am trying to use apm 2 in regards to the windows event log counter script. I have installed APM v2 and added an snmp node (a 2k3 server) perfectly and have now applied the logon script counter to this node.  I have given the script some parameters and not ammended the script. I am reciving the following error:

 status unknown with an error stating " Windows script execution error C:\document and settings\orion\temp.. microsoft vbscript compilation error expected "then"

 

I have gone through the wmi troubleshooting guide for wmi and everything is ok according to the doc. Also rpc is enabled, no firewalls are on and I am using win2k3 does anybody have any suggestions? it would be REALLY great if I could get this script to work it

Hi Paul,

 The compilation error means that APM did not even try to run the script.

 Could you try to run the script manually in the command line with the parameters you specified?
