I Cannot upgrade from APM 2.5 to APM 4

Hi,

once I try to upgrade from APM 2.5 to APM3.5, The installer give me a message: "Sevice OrionModuleEngine Fail to start verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services”.

Can you help me what should I do ?

Hi Atheeb,

We got you fixed after a remote session.

If anyone gets this problem again you need to check the permissions checker in C:\Program Files\Solarwinds\Orion\OrionPermissionchecker.exe.

There was problems with the accounts and the permissions so we fixed these and we were able to upgrade afterwards.

Did you try to uninstall APM 2.5 first and then install APM 3.5?

Yes I tried, But Also once I try to uninstall APM 2.5, the installer giving me the same message "Sevice OrionModuleEngine Fail to start verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services”.

Ensure you've upgrade to Orion 10.0 before upgrading to APM 3.5. The upgrade matrix below should help. If you continue to run into upgrade issues I would recommend opening a support ticket online and working through the issue with one of our Support Engineers.

I opened ticket before 2 weeks,and I am still waiting for technical support team. yesterday opened another ticket and still waiting ..
