Just a quick question, how do we get the URL itself that is getting monitored.

Hi,

After going through all of the Variables that could get me this detail and also running into DB, i still did not get to a point to locate this.

Can you please point me in the right direction.

Eg :

HTTP or HTTPS monitor will monitor for eg : www.solarwinds.com on port 80

Now i want to know from SAM that what are all the URL's itself that is getting monitored.

I tried.. but i could only get SAM Application name and component name, but the URL itself is not present as a variable.

is there any alternative to it. please let me know.

Easiest way to do it is name the component(s) as the URL(s) itself, then you can create a report for Components with Component type = HTTP Monitor OR HTTPS Monitor

This is what I do but the nightmare is you can't put a component into Unmanaged Mode. So if you have a template with 1000 URLs and 10 are being worked on you have to put the whole template into UM.

Or, create 1000 unique templates for each URL.

Hmm.. you can disable them and re-enable them once the work on them is over. Unfortunately we cannot Un-manage/disable them for a pre-defined duration at component level.

You rename your component to the URL name.
