Hello,
Is there a way to delete old nodes from NCM that doesnt exists in NPM any more? I know there isnt any sync between those DBs but
maybe some one had made an SQL/report that found these old nodes
/Martin
Being that the database "NetPerfMon" is a transactional database, you can delete the node all you want, but you will need to get into SQL to remove the data belonging to the node.
The "Orion" database contains the node information. Since it is a relational database, I would guess that eben though you removed the node from the console, it would remain in the database but be flagged as inactive as long as data regarding the node still existed in the "NetPerfMon" database. Long story short: while you can remove the node from the console, it can't truly go away unless it eventually gets aged off.
nice NetPerfMon is awesome but need to remove use to the sql and the node thanks for the input

I for one solve this problem by pinging all nodes If I can't response I delete them. I don't like it but I don't know any other solution.
