I've just recently uninstalled NPM SLX 30 day eval and installed SL500 (price constraint) on one of our servers, and now I've noticed that the NetPerfMonService service is around 80-90% CPU usage. I'm not sure why this is happening, since I didn't have this issue while using the eval. I even DL'd the Polling Tuning utility and scaled back my polls per second from 30 to 8, but that didn't make any difference.
I contacted SW support, which asked for support information from the web interface, but they didn't have any initial ideas or form of resolution. It's an older server: Win2003 Std SP2/3GB RAM/2.88Ghz DC Xeon. The only thing this server is really used for is terminal services with minimal users and accessing our PBX switch from time to time through a management console.
So I was wondering if anyone has run into this before, and what can I do to resolve this issue? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
