Is there a way for NCM to detect if there's a difference between the startup and running config? I would like to see if we forgot to do a write mem on a switch/router.
What version of NCM are you running? If it's the latest version, it should be set to "as of last update". This should get updated on each config download operation (scheduled or ad hoc). The key is you must download both the startup and running configs for each device in NCM.
There's a chart in the NCM web console and NCM integration module that shows if you have devices that conflicts between startup and running config. If you drill down on the chart, you can see which devices are in conflict.
Thanks, I found the chart you mentionned but there doesn't seem to be any data to display. Is there an option or feature that I'm not using that's linked to this chart?
