WMI unavailable - Setting up as a critical alarm ?

Hello,

My name is Richard, I live in São Paulo - Brasil.

First, I apologize for my English, I hope you understand.

Today I own monitoring with Windows Server 2008/2012 servers using WMI, it happens that a server has lost trust with AD and therefore can not authenticate through the SAM with the domain account. So far, ok, normal behavior. The problem is that the monitoring does not appear as CRITICAL, or visually displayed in color "GREY" and it is not possible to identify as CRITICAL, red.
Does anyone know tell me how to do that even in these cases, the WMI appears as unavailable, as I would to configure to generate a Critical alarm.

I use the "Alert me when a managed node has not been polled during the last 5 tries" alert which will do somewhat of what you are asking for if you target Windows...

The alert is already in your alerts section. It is built in. You just have to configure it to your liking.

It is names something like "alert me when an objects hasn't been polled successfully the last 5 tries"...

Sorry I am not at my desk to give you the exact name.
