Dynamic report on network nodes

I see the dynamic reporting under NCM was removed in the latest release. Is there anywhere else in Solarwinds where I can dynamically pull reports on machine types, locations, etc without have to create a static report for every single scenario I want to look at?

The NCM reports were moved under the platforms reporting menu.

Yes, I know that. The problem is the dynamic reporting that was available in NCM is gone. I used to be able to go into a reporting and then dynamically choose to show either only systems with name like "X", or only systems in that report with Machine Type "y", and so on. Now it appears that to get any of that information, I need separate report for each scenario I think I might possibly want or I can spend time looking through the really long report. The dynamic report sorting in NCM was very handy and I used it often. Unless you know how to access this?

You could create a custom SWQL widget with a search function for this. This is what would come to my mind when reading "dynamically choosing what nodes to show".

I haven't checked the reports on the newer NCM versions yet as most of my ncm customers are still on older releases.

do you remember where the "dynamic" option in the reports was located? I will see if I can understand your requirements and maybe come up with something that shows the same data.
