Network Sonar Discovery - Will not automatically import interfaces

I just spent 1.5 hours so SolarWinds support could replicate the issue I already told them about. (so why would we pay and additional $200 for this terrible support, but that's another thread) I have setup network sonar discovery to auto import nodes - I picked the options and ran the discovery. Which runs great but it will not import any of the interfaces automatically. If I go in and manually do it it will add all of them that way but I was hoping to do this automatically. My questions.

1. Does this actually work? I found articles say that the network sonar will not autoimport interfaces.

2. If this does work if someone could send me documentation that would be great. I found the Network Sonar instructions on the SW site but no interface trouble shooting tips.
