NCM just keeps the scroll bar moving in the device window and then becomes "not responding"

We are running NCM v5 and we can't use it anymore if we log in we get the initial window but after a few seconds the device pane on the left has a scroll bar that just keeps scrolling and after a period of minutes it is still doing it. If you click on anything in the window the program just hangs with " not responding"

Has anybody else seen this?

Can you try disabling node monitoring to see if this resolves the issue?

We are seeing a similar issue with our version of NCM v5.1.1. Disabling Node monitoring does appear to resolve the issue, but does that action reduce the functionality or NCM at all? My primary concern is, does this prevent NCM from downloading nightly configs from these router nodes?

Disabling node monitoring does not reduce the functionality of NCM at all. Your nightly config downloads should be fine. FYI, one thing that node monitoring does do beside status polling is rediscovery of system information. However, this is mitigated by scheduling an inventory job (which now includes a checkbox for system information in 5.x) to refresh this information.

We are working on a fix for this issue.
