High CPU load since upgrade Cirrus to Orion

Question

Orion v5 NCM takes four times a minute about 80% CPU time of my P4 3GHz processor, see attachment. This high load periode lasts about 5 seconds. During this periode is Orion fully inaccessible and Node List sidebar is shivering up and down. Other applications respond very slowly. Network utilization is constantly negligible. Is it a usual behaviour?

I don't mean to throw fuel in the fire, but are you pinging nodes via ICMP within Orion NCM?  I had some problems with this in previous versions.

Do you mean node monitoring? I tried to disable it, but it didn't help.

Me too. Had a call logged for 24 hours and still no resolution.

Our system is basically unusable as the GUI stops responding, did you guys get a fix?
