Syslog service problem

Question

i have 2 verison of solarwainds 1 is running on 2003 and 1 on 2008 rs, the 2008 R2 syslog server keeps stopping, if you start it, it starts then stops after 2 secconds,  there is nothing in the event log apart it says "syslog service started"  "syslog service stopped"

any known issues?

ah, now sorted,

there was a ncm syslog service running..

why?  dont know,

did i installed/start this...... no (that i know of)

i've also done a reboot,

repair on npm and ncm
