NCM Inventory Reports and Jobs

If I run a new 'manual' NCM Inventory Report one time, it adds this into the Web Inventory Reports.  Do I need to setup a routine Scheduled Job to refresh this inventory report ?  or does it automatically refresh every 24 hours ?  I have read somewhere on Thwack that these Inventory Reports are 'cached' every 24 hrs, but unclear if you need to setup a Scheduled Job.  Looks like all the NCM 'canned' Inventory Reports are running,, but I did not setup any scheduled jobs for these:  Example: Down Nodes, Login Status, etc. that came with NCM.

NCM Inventory Reports on the website are generated on the fly from the data that is gathered during the inventory process. By default NCM runs the inventory job nightly and updates the inventory data.

You do not have to run the inventory reports because they are not cached. HTH
