Web App Audio Alerts

Our server is in a data center. Anytime changes need to be made we remote into the server. One can setup sound alerts on the server however there is no one there to hear them. We use web broswers to monitor the network. At this point (don't want to use email or cell alerts). It would be nice to have the ability to setup audio alerts in IE. We are currently using approx v7.5.

I was told there is some script that would currently do this... is this true?

This feature was added in 8.1. It can be set on a per-account basis.

I was told the system could not do it as of yet... see email from our account rep (LAY)

Here’s a suggestion from my SE:

There are some users that have scripts that do this. I would suggest looking on thwack. If not they could make an email address for that machine and have a sound that plays when the email is sent to the orion email address on that machine.
