m1000e

Hello

fairly new to using solwarwinds - rolled out to about 100 devices in the last few weeks and then i was going to download mibs etc to get the hardware monitoring done until i noticed that sam does it out the box so have now updated to this and all is good.

my next bit do get monitored though is the m1000e. i know if i have agents on these then i can monitor the blades but i want the chassis as well.

i can see a section for a trap address in the cmc but how do i enable at solar side

SAM 5.0 fully supports the monitoring of the blades within the chassis but does not as yet support monitoring of the chassis itself. This is something we're considering for a future release. This feature request is currently being tracked as FB107659. If you're willing to post some MIB walks from the chassis using this tool I will attach them to the case so we can ensure your chassis are supported when this feature is implemented.

I have SAM version 5.2 and I already have hardware health monitoring support for DELL M1000e devices although only on those which have firware version 4.17. Is this now somehow built in M1000e?

How do I get the same current hw health and hw details monitor on versions bellow 4, if possible?
