Hi. Where in the Database is information about the serial numbers of devices? Or how to find the device knowing its serial number?
in NCM this is a function of the Inventory collection module.
Modern devices should support the Entity MIB, and you could use a custom poller to collect that information in NPM.
Why not just answer the question? It wasn't a custom poller question.
