unable to load serv config obj
vbowers
I've had my Orion install running fine for many months. After loading the April Microsoft Critical Updates and rebooting the server, I am now getting the following error:
Unable to load service configuration object: OrionAppPoller.ServiceConfiguration
A look at the Services interface shows that the Application Monitor is not running and cannot be manually started. Subsequent reboots of the server (for other reasons) have not been any more successful. All other Orion services are operating correctly.
Can anyone toss me a suggestion? Thanks!

If your Orion version is older than 7.8.5, I recommend downloading 7.8.5 and installing over the top of your existing installation (this will not overwrite any data or settings).
After installing 7.8.5 (or if you already have it installed), download and install the latest version of the Application Monitor Management Pack over the top of the current installation.
Neither install will need a new license as it will detect your current license that is already installed.
If this does not resolve the issue, contact the SolarWinds Support Team at (918) 307-8100, or email [url="mailto:support@solarwinds.net"]support@solarwinds.net.
