How do I build a job to look for Mac address on all our cisco nodes?

We have a partial list of mace addresses and need to find the complete mac address and poll this information from our Cisco

nodes within our network. Is this possible within NCM to run a job to hit each Cisco device to look for a partial Mac address?

Am I correct that you are looking for the list of all mac addresses attached to the routers and switches? Not the addresses on the switches themselves, correct? The Cisco command for that would be show mac-address table, or on some newer devices it is show mac address-table. Schedule a job in ncm to just run that against everything and then use excel to compare the results to the list you have. You could do the filtering at the cisco side by doing a filter like show mac address-table | inc F8DB88 (I dont recall off hand if Cisco would need you to break it up with the ':' between segments, you'll have to check ). I feel like taking everything into excel and filtering there is just generally more useful.

I would concur as well but you could also try to use the nightly inventory job to show that info and run a report against that.
